Thalamuthu

Thalamuthu’s wood and copper sculptures reflect the eternal bond between nature and humanity and attempt to reawaken our fading connection with it. Everything that Thalamuthu expresses in his art is drawn from the natural world: it is a teacher, companion and the source of all universal experiences, including our instinctive emotions like anger and joy. Emphasising the seed as the origin of all life, his art focuses on agriculture as well as the impact of urbanisation on rural landscapes. Firmly rooted in the ground, his earthy works capture the constantly changing state of nature and highlight the lessons that nature teaches us.
